Traveling alone for the first time..questions

Hi,


For a first time "alone" traveler are there specific countries you would suggest? I'm very open minded. Are there any places that would be a nice first experience alone? I'm looking to meet other travelers like me out for a new experience and would love to actually join some of these people in parts of their exploration if possible.



How much stuff can you carry with you?
